Hi Everyone.

You may find some of these imbalanced so fell free to suggest balance. I don't know how hard is the impmentation, but you may find useful stuff here.

Here they are:

1. Coup de Grace (Mortred) Aghanim's upgrade:

Upgrade to:

Level 1: 15% chance to 2.5 critical, additionally adds 1.5% chance to 5.0 critical

Level 2: 15% chance to 3.5 critical, additionally adds 1.5% chance to 7.0 critical

Level 3: 15% chance to 4.5 critical, additionally adds 1.5% chance to 9.0 critical

Adds new visual effect on triggering the critical.

2. Mana Void (Magina) Aghanim's upgrade:

Upgrade to:

Level 1: Reduce CD by 20s and Deals 0.8 damage per mana point missing

Level 2: Reduce CD by 20s and Deals 1.15 damage per mana point missing

The most OP tank

04 March 2015 - 04:55 PM

I have found several builds based on the combo Degen Aura + Pulse Nova to be very nasty and overpowered.

I think the most successful is this one:

1. Degen Aura

2. Blood Bath

3. Static Field

4. Decay or Quill Spray (or Other low CD AoE spell like Death Pulse or Shallow Wave, some Lightnings from Zeus or Lesharc)

5. Flesh Golem or Chemical Rage

6. Pulse Nova

Let me explain what's happening.

Basically when you cast pulse nova the enemies close to you stop moving. If you have enough HP and mana you can deal tons of damage and kill everybody close to you. Nevertheless if they try overtake you with spells the Static Field will punish them. Chemical rage boosts your HP regen to insane level plus you get healed from blood bath when something dies near you. Flesh Golem is also very good for this combo, because the damage amplification from Decay and Quill Spray can kill everybody with just 3-4 casts.

Decay increases your Strength and HP and you are getting fatter and fatter. You never stop spamming the low CD spell to constantly trigger Static Field.

What you need is tons of mana so pick str. hero with a lot of intelligence increased per level. Kaolin, Bristeback etc or combine with someone with Essence Aura.

Items that serves best1 are Aghanim, Dagger, Shiva's Guard, HoT, Radiance, Blade mail, Linken Sphere

Also I will play with Rot next time, but I think the movement speed slow factor is maxed just because you are using Degen Aura + Pulse Nova with Aghanim.

Happy tanking :)

Suggestion Self Cast for certain spells

18 February 2015 - 12:09 PM

Hi everyone,

I don't know if this is planned to some future release or even possible but I think it will lead to a signifficant game play improvement.

In Dota 2 you can double click on some abilities and the result is casting on yourself.

At the moment self cast mechanic works only for the inventory items.

Is there any problem preventing this to be implemented for the abilities?

If it's possible, then I would like to see it in some future version.

There are 2 type of abilities that can be self casted:

1. Single tartgeted like Repel, Bloodust, Bloodrage, Empower....

2. AoE targeted like Infernal, Split Earth, Frost nova. This will be tricky, because once you press the spell shortcut key the crosschair appear hiding abilities in inventory. What should happen as self cast should be double clicking fast enough before having chance to aim. This will center the crosschair on the caster and cast immediatelly.

It don't know if this is possible so if not enable it for single targeted only.

Regards
