Hi everyone,

I don't know if this is planned to some future release or even possible but I think it will lead to a signifficant game play improvement.

In Dota 2 you can double click on some abilities and the result is casting on yourself.

At the moment self cast mechanic works only for the inventory items.

Is there any problem preventing this to be implemented for the abilities?

If it's possible, then I would like to see it in some future version.

There are 2 type of abilities that can be self casted:

1. Single tartgeted like Repel, Bloodust, Bloodrage, Empower....

2. AoE targeted like Infernal, Split Earth, Frost nova. This will be tricky, because once you press the spell shortcut key the crosschair appear hiding abilities in inventory. What should happen as self cast should be double clicking fast enough before having chance to aim. This will center the crosschair on the caster and cast immediatelly.

It don't know if this is possible so if not enable it for single targeted only.

Regards

Klan

I understand the compromises that must be made to realize this suggestion.

I wont bother with details save for the punchline. A hard project to implement and function on a satisfying level.

I do however support this, would it be possible to obtain and arsed by our coder(s). I'd appreciate it.

Best of luck, have fun in the process.

- Sincerely, Whiteboard.

its imposible for AoE ,   however the single target abilities can be coded but  probably that will lead to new bugs in general

Aoe is possible. All new implementations has the risk of introducing new bugs, no matter what it is.

This implementation is no diffrent to any other in that regard.
