"Defend" same idea as the wc3 footman skill

Active skill ( last forever can click again to stop )

Manacost: 75/100/125/150

Cooldown: 0

Reduce Physical Dmg by: 10/20/30/40 %

Reduce Movement Speed by: 20/40/60/80 %

Reflect chance: 5/10/15/20%

Reflect dmg:10/20/30/40% of damage taken

Does not activate Earthshaker/Stormspirit/lina's passives

Skill formula

( ) = optional if skill was taken

-  = subtract

damage taken - reduce dmg from defend - armor damage block - (tide hunter's passive ) - (the % of dispertion) - (bristleback) - (just add the skills i've missed) = damage reflected

Yes.

I approve of this suggestion.

#Reflect dmg:10/20/30/40% of damage taken.
- Is this a permanent blademail effect?

- Sincerely, Whiteboard.

some what, but then i made the equation for the damage taken so its not op, it should stack on blade mail effect bec. it already blocks 40% dmg hence not returning shit loads of damage (best counter for swipes?) idk if skill should also reduce attack speed... u guys can decide

This is gonna sound cheeky, but it would be standardized to give it a duration than a toggle.

As it is, having 40% permanent damage return will be a constant beacon of power people need to play around.
- Thats to be expected though. But the user can only be overpowered not outplayed.

Dota / LoD is heavily based around timers.
- Stuns, Disables, Morph durations, Items (Bkb, Bm, Cyclone, Hex) and buffs like God's Strenght.

The essential component is that you have a peak moment when your power spikes the most.
When you move in to kill.
For nukers, they blink and dump 4 nukes.
Carries activates BKB to kill nukers / disablers.
Black Hole, Ghost Ship, Chronossphere.

Blade Mail versus Shapeshift.

The list goes on.

The deflection skill needs to have a weakness other than a penalty.
And I suggested a downtime. A cooldown and a duration.

If you give it a simple weakness, you can buff its values in return.

- Sincerely, Whiteboard.

i think the reduced physical damage should be reduce all damage by 40% so the reflected dmg will be only 40% of the 60% remaining damage taken

then I'd say silence will turn off this skill, is this good enough? so silence can be in the meta again
