It reveals them but does no damage.  Perma invis is already op.  Do you guys think we could make wrath do damage to perma invis as well?  I dont understand why perma invis would be immune to wrath.

I don't understand why allies are immune to Thundergod's Wrath. We should make it deal dmg to allies as well.

" Hand of god should also apply to this rule, thus healing enemy heroes. "

@Hillo - xoxoxo.

But in all seriousness, the reason WottG does not hit heroes out-of-boundries or cloaked is a side effect / byproduct of the maps coding.

When you press the button, a script launches.

This script does the following:
Selects all hostile hero units.
Spawns a dummy unit on each selected unit.
Gives a timer to each dummy unit (it is removed as timer is consumed).
Gives all dummy units an ability each.
All dummy units casts ability on a selected unit within range.

Where exactly the truesight comes from I cant say for certain. Could be that the dummy has truesight or that the ability gained spawns another dummy (in other words, using a original Lightningbolt as a template which mimics this behaviour).

Punchline being: WottG will not harm untargetable units.
And in this case, the true sight is applied after the issued command to Bolt all hostile players.
Thus they cannot be targeted, only revealed.

Case is slightly diffrent for out-of-bounds units, but roughly the same. The dummy unit will be missplaced instead of ontop a hostile player.

As they cant fit outside boundries as other exceptional heroes can. Spectre and Sand King for example.

This could easily be fixed if coders had the intention.
Basicly moving a script command into a diffrent order afaik and giving the ability more range for out-of-boundries placed units.

Thank you for your insight WB.  That would be great if we could move the truesight order before wrath.

Afaik, they wont enable damage against cloaked units nor ones outside boundries.

Per experience the lod map follows two procedures.

- Patch notes
- Extended balance

Where as new content get's implemented (and old updated) the map will at best efforts update as well according to the new changelog for dota1/2.

After a digestion period of the new/updated content, it will be balanced for the map if needed.

There is a third step that involves promoting underused abilities and/or implementing old removed content from the original map.
Which will then be subjected to the lod standards.

My best suggestion is that you contact the development team for the official dota1/2 changelog to change.

- Sincerely, Whiteboard.
