Hi Guys,

 

ENT is dying for LoD, I know many of us still stranded there are stranded because we cannot make RGC work.

 

Could someone who plays on RGC make a id10t friendly guide to play DotA LoD on RGC please?

Yea.  We've helped a ton of people already.  I wish I could make a big post on the ENT forum but I think they would take it down.  Try to get everyone to come to our discord group.  From there we can help you.  https://discord.gg/9jVTDgu


PS if you make it there and none of us are online, there are links you can view under the tab install-links.

Basically you need the old WC3, where theres an exe for RoC and one for TFT.  We have Wc3 install links posted in the group.  Make a separate folder for your RGC wc3.  Then install RGC and WC3.  Set your exe in RGC to the correct file path.  Join an lod room.  Menu >rooms>LoD.  Open wc3 with the start button.  Go to LAN.  See games.  Have the correct map.  Join game or sign your name in bottom right corner to get a game going (depends on room).  It's confusing at 1st but super easy after you do it a few times.

You can find a lot of the active ex-ENT players playing in RGC, biggest reason being ENT is already a dead community and has been for awhile(they had a shut down announcement a month ago).
