If you have any skill that increases attack range and Impetus, when you press Impetus skill and target something the hero will walk until 550 distance to shoot. I'm assuming the range and the bonus range from skills is bigger than 550.

Known wc3 bug and happens with every autocast spell. You'll need to toggle autocast everytime you want to harass with it if the hero's range is higher than the range the spell belongs to.

Better toggle with using key or combination of keys for toggle
ex. i'm using ctrl+q , ctrl+w , ctrl+e , ctrl+r (read configlod.ini for more information)
