Treant is bigger than it's selection, so often I missclick this hero thinking I'm actually clicking on it. For years I had this same trouble.

 

I'm not sure if it is only me, but well... suggestions.

Thanks you for posting. That's it! The selection scale is smaller for the hero model scale.

I think I wasn't specfic on my request in this topic. The real problem does not has to do with selection (the green circle), but the real selection range.
 
I made a video showing how other heroes are easily selected compared to Treant.

Don't worry, I did understand what you mean, the issue is just that you need to re-import the entire model file of a unit to fix such an issue. I'm not sure if it's worth it but we'll check it out.
