It doesnt always work especially on skills with multiple icons. How to cancel this while in game?

If you're refering to hotkey bindings via config files -> It is not possible to change hotkeys live while the client is running.

 

It demands a reboot in order to reconfigure hotkeys.

 

I suggest you find a hotkeysoftware for Wc3 that operates outside keyconfig.txt, either using a "clicker" program which clicks on certain locations on the screen for you or simply adapt your drafting methods to avoid hotkey conflicts.

 

This has been a long issue for a long time and is still yet unresolved properly.

I dont recall there being a -bind command in wc3/dota/lod.
