It would be helpful if more information was available in skill descriptions which are still vague.  For example what is the aoe of hoof stomp?  All pertinent info helps make a more sound decision in picking and in game play.

For noobs: even if you put up some number there they won't understand the real range

 

Additionally I believe only experienced dota players play LOD and this doesn't seem very necessary to me.

The more info, the better of course.

 

But Burnt leaves a valid point. Those who lod are not amateurs and comes with experience knowing your numbers.

 

If coders could be arsed to bother spell info numbers without making too much clutter (or pull it off in another way), that would be a nice touch.

 

However completely excessive.

It has more to do with laziness, really.

 

Just compare the chinese DotA's tooltips to the english ones. The chinese ones have all the info you need.
