Topic says it all ... stupid brain dead skill ruins games.

nah just remove range cast and add more eclipse count

u can keep rearm eclipse but just like Omniknight, Copter or Chen, remove it with Agha.

There are very few instances where rearm eclipse cannot be countered by blademail or hood and some HP. Blademail costs half of what aghs does and said rearm'er would need a lot of HP or a BKB to deal with the damage from blademail early on. You playing poorly against some skills does not make them broken.

This is a team game, at times after the drafts are picked ... if you don't have the best counters ... it just becomes a very OP skill to counter ... if that is the case, why not Rearm Gyro Ulti? ... the cast range on Eclipse makes it pseudo global, u just tele in trees or on cliffs n cast far far away ...

 

So like I said ... I don't care if it is Rearm Eclipse, just remove the Agha cast range if rearm is picked ... This same mechanic is applied to Omniknight, Copter and Chen to balance the ulties Agha effect.

This keeps happening with Re arm.

Rearm is the problem.

Any new changes to other ultimates instantly becomes Re-arm fodder combo's.

Which gets flamed on forums and nerfed.

 

Skip playing an imbalanced game mode or nerf Rearm instead of other skills.

Suggestion:

Double the mana cost and/or rearm time on problem ult combos.  Same idea was done for one hit.

Ur pretty active lol. Rearm is not the problem - I recommend removing Agha range cast then it's no longer op

Eclipse is not the core problem.

 

At some point Ice Frog (or whomever is in charge of dota nowadays, idk tbh).
 - Will add a new global spell.
- Buff an aghanim's versions.
- Give agha to an unboosted ultimate.
- And bla bla, more examples.

 

Point is, dota patch notes are unpredictable in new content. It has always been radical and mindblowingly OP when something new is added.

I remember dropping my jaw at Duel and Moment of courage and the unlimited Chainfrost jumps.
Same with Geminite Attack. (Which hasnt been patched into lod yet, looking forward to it).

 

And then there will be Rearm when that happens.

And there will be a new post about some OP shit going on in s6 mode.

And I will post the same post again on that topic.

 

Same as I did with Sleigh of fist.
Both SoF and Rearm are conduits for other spells/abilities thus boosting/exploiting their effects even more.

 

SoF got nerfed alot in Balanced mode, thus no longer an overpicked spell.
- Still has its moments thanks to Caustic Finale and cleaving power. I sure miss moonglaive though.

 

Note this my fellow lodders, this is a re-occuring theme.

Rearm will keep making OP shit happen in s6 mode.

 

Deal with it < or > Deal with Rearm < or > Dont play s6.

 

Unless you're gonna modify Rearm, dont complain about it.

From this spectrum, I get a diffrent feedback continiously.

 

Besides that, I agree wholeheartedly.

 

People whine on Rearm being broken as fuck, except they blame the latest spell which can be abused by Rearm.

 

- Geminite Attack has been patched in Dota2 to allow orb effects.

 

Rearm Eclipse is bullshit in this version jesus christ!

 

And that basicly summarizes it.

 

Eclipse gets "Rearm nerfed".

 

Then comes a new spell.

 

Which will also be a game winner combo with 0 effort.

 

Infernals, Reincarnation, Overgrowth, Guardian Angel, etc.

 

Let it be broken as fuck, dont play s6, ban Rearm, remove Ultimates from the affected cooldowns.

 

The choice is yours.

 

Whining is not one of them.
