e.g. sandstorm - these spells are so weak in lod cause stuns are everywhere.  They arent that strong to begin with so why not make them pickable by giving them the one hit linkens that witch doc ult has.

Agreed, most chanelled abilities are rather lacking and could do with some sort of a buff.

Freezing got 2s immunity from the start (with Agha), Epicenter is pritty fast casting on some heroes and is incredible with aftershock in it.
Blackhole ... maybe pulling speed and/or aoe of pulling to be rather bigger is better than bonus linken, because the current item (linken sphere) is 14 cd or so.

I'd rather have 1dpp to be properly installed in LoD without any bypasses.

One disable for reg skill and if you want to pick your ult as a disable to give you two that's fine imo too.  Two possible disables if you pick your ult as one.  It maybe strong but I dont think it's crazy op, especially with linkens and bkb there for you to build.

2 disables per player didnt work out either.

People exploited it for power and disregarded drafting in general for stuns.
- With either a carry or nuker build.

 

Hence I enforced 1dpp (which has bypasses atm).

The problem is that certain abilities were just meant for certain heroes. Sven can't use Storm Bolt all the time due to the mana cost compared to his mana pool. In LoD you can just pick Jakiro or Dark Seer with ~ 27 starting int which is more than enough to use it multiple times on the lane.

 

Compare Storm Bolt with Carrion Swarm, Carrion Swarm deals less damage, doesn't stun and costs the same amount of mana. The only advantage it has is a lower cooldown and the fact that it hits in a line. If you were to swap Death Prophet's and Sven's primary abilities around, Sven would become a piece of shit and Death Prophet would just be insane.

 

There's way too many stuns from way too many heroes which you can pair with invis/blink which everyone always does and each game is the same. Having disables should have some sort of drawback.

Good thing I got things started early.

 

2 stuns so far (what i've seen) has been nerfed with less damage.

 

What i'd appreciate the most is either applying my "incap" rule mentioned in another thread or that the 1dpp limit has no bypasses.
- Lazy coders needs to double check the chart for disables.

I agree with WB in regards to the disable rule.  If it keeps you from moving or hitting or casting for a significant amount of time then it's a disable.  Remake the list cause you can bypass the rule with certain skills at the moment.
