Due to the increased amount of off-topic spam, we decided to implement new guidelines, especially for this forum, but they're also in effect for all other forums as well.

Please abstain from off-topic hate.

It's very much wanted that everyone gives their opinion on something, but we do not want people drifting off into meaningless e-peen comparison, which in the core just means "u suck, noob" (as sewww very bluntly puts Whiteboard's 10-line sentences into 3 words)

For example, you may write "I don't like your idea, because (detailed explanation without personal attacks)"  but NOT  "I don't like your idea, you're such a noob, only nabs like you would suggest this, everyone hates you, fuck you" or anything in that fashion.

Any personal hate stuff will just be deleted immediately, keep it out of this forum, battle yourselves in LoD 1v1 or something (don't organize these e-peen comparisons in forum, use PM or off-topic forum if you must, tyvm). Opinions are opinions and should be treated as such.

Good work, keep it up.

It's appropriate to lock the post and keep it pinned.

And keeping an eye on the forums the following days to accomondate the fact that this post comes with authority and should be treated as such by the users.

I also noticed you did not delete all of the spitefull comments/replies, only the most recent ones. Please make a complete check on the entirety of the threads that you observe. And take actions accordingly.

- Sincerely, Whiteboard.

Not locking the topic was done purposefully, rules should be discussed and this can be done here.

In all honesty, we dont really need a forum policy to follow.

It's just that sometimes one prick who doesn't have a genuine intrest in the game shows up being an exception from the rest of the group.

This happens all the time in diffrent places.

Online platforms, work places, kindergarden / school.

Mostly because the person himself feels bad and takes it out on others as a cry for help. Reaching out in the only way known to person.

So far until this exception happend all has been fine, people cut to the chase with topics relevant to the map without the bullshit. No one has been insulting anyone or just taking up blank spaces with random flame.
Just a pure intrest in what they think should be or not be in the map.

As it is, the community for lod is small and genuine and shouldn't pay heed to strict rules. I know this conflicts with my previous post about abiding authority, but I wasn't thinking straight. Been a rough monday morning.

 - If people carried on as before this exception happend. This thread would be moot, as it should be.

I hope that people who cant open up simply process their inner problems first hand and open up to life for what it is and can carry on from this day onward and enjoy what they do.

As it has before.

But most importantly, that punks get the treatment and removal from the forums instead of applying all-including rules. That's simply gonna end up salty in the end.

- Sincerely, Whiteboard.

Thank you Resq!  This is a great idea.  Everyone's opinion has the right to be voiced just like any healthy Democracy.  LoD is a phenomenal game.  Lets enjoy it and work together to improve it by having healthy discussions of what we have experienced in our game play.

Also add English as mandatory language.
