There are always some things which are never enough. In our case its time. Work & family take big piece of time, so that slows down any development progression. Its still there but not that fast as we could wish.

So i decided to leak some next version changelog to discuss changes right now, instead of waiting for the release. How's that?

 

Of course, the main part of the changelog would be 6.82 changes, which could be found literally anywhere. If you arent addicted to Dota2, you can find list here. This list is partially done, and there are some changes, which do not really bother me. For instance, why the hell we need to get rid of universal/mixed damage? I cant find any good reasons for that, beside casual retardness, maybe somebody else can enlight me.

 

The second part is changes done aside of that. Speaking not about balance but features, i want to introduce you few things:

 

  1. Mode Switch no longer supported
  2. Poison nova recoded, now it wont dispell on Ethereal stats or some other things which dispelled it before.
  3. Quelling blade not an orb anymore, but also wont increase cleaved damage when procs
  4. Now you can sell last bought item for full price in first 10 seconds after buying
  5. If you pick up Rune while having non-runed bottle, it will go into bottle instead of normal pickup.
  6. When all players finished skill picking phase, taverns will be hidden for a few seconds to prevent lag affecing heropicking phase
  7. "Nerfed stuns" system: each consequence stun duration will be decreased.

Please, tell me, what do you think. Some of them worth discussing for sure.

Make sure to implate this pls : DD , its important to use MOM on bear without energy booster ^^

  • Spirit Bear now has 300 mana
  • Spirit Bear using Hand of Midas now grants the XP to Lone Druid
  • Headshot now causes a 0.5 second 100% MS and AS slow instead of a 0.25 second stun

    So headshot  wont be buffplacer when procs for ranged heroes  ?  And it shud stack with MKB right ? :D

Sounds good so far.

 

Some thougths (bugs) from my side:

- fix leshrac stats gain on str (it says somewhat +3,7 per level, not sure if this got reported already)

- __do not__ add the new riki invi (as normal spall, from 8-2 seconds fade time per level, if it doesnt reveal invis it means you can have spam skills with being hidden totally from lvl 2) what i basically mean, my lovely build on mc+warth with essence aura+lightning of zeus will gain op as hell (spamable at level 4 and perm invi, who will kill you and stop your farm?)

- I would also enjoy if it is possible to add 2 new modes for me, im planing a 3v3 and 1v1 bot. But its not yet totally sure. The modes need to be really short, only 4 caracters as max, so i suggest in that way to change modes also from chev -> ohs, since we are chev, and chev is no longer active.

- A small check for -cam usage, i had yesterday ingame someone where the cam was stucked to his hero head, i dont know how he made it, here is a link, just to be sure that the cam was set properly.

 

Just feedback:

I like the thing with taverns. It will decrease the bug chance a lot.

Yes, please keep the d2 updates valid by being imported to lod.

 

Simple  reasoning goes as: More new stuff to play/tinker/brainstorm with.

 - Leshrac: No comment, haven't checked that.

 - New P. Invisibility. Yes, implement it. Give it the nerf's it needs by using -extended balance afterwards as it is implemented.

 - I apply the same statement on the new blink strike.

@ Draco

 

- Mixed damage : Please drop a note on the skills that does have mixed damage on their tooltips. Specially if they are intended by d2 updates to be updated.

If you dont intend to change their damage type accordingly, I find it in order to relay that information to players ingame.

 

I simply do not understand what mode switching inclines.

 

No comment on Nova, this is outside my department. But if what you claim is true, it will be less glitchy. By all means do as you see fit.

 

I aprove of de-orbing the Q.blade. Was such a bumme getting Mask of Death for farming woods at the cost of damage.

 

 - Full-refund on new items. < Please make sure > that you cant refund items while in combat. I dont want to see people juggling ring of health from the laneshop for free.

Also, does this apply on combined items? As in, you can get a full refund of your previously bought Mask of death by combining it to Dominator before a selling it?

 

 - "Auto-bottle", please add this as a player command. I do not want to process through an additional step if aquiring a rune and using it. While in combat.

 

 - Tavern lag issues, again. No comment. Do as you see fit.

 

 - Reduced stun durations. God yes. I'd actually like it to be released asap, even by the means of a stand alone update before the rest arrives.

For the longest time, stuns have been op and the best average choice for any build or missing skill slots as you draft. Plus it's a boring game mechanic making the game too easy, or just lame if you're the one who's stunned. (Usually, a stun doesnt come alone). It's much very well appreciated that stuns will have a drawback now. Lifting up those non-nuke-based control abilities is a superb addition to this map.

 

As for the stun-nerf, It could be an objective benefit to give it a test run by releasing it prematurely with the rest of the updates. For feedback.

Im sure there will be tons of whine and a shitstorm of flame. But I digress, those who does whine should be given less credit of their feedback.

 

With that, hope I was brief enough. I look forward to the incomming updates.

wc3' item system is different from dota - you have to get really close to shop to sell something, so it would be much harder. or you insist that 50hp reg they could get via "buy - sell" is crucial?

refund will cover only the same item. you can disassemble combined item and sell wrong piece for full price, but surely not combined item.

thats called -c / -co, old doto command, which fix camera overhead hero

Yes.

 

Despite the time and range constraints, if you can keep laning from that shop. You can continiously purchase a ring for free regen and sell it before refund-timer expires. Which at that point, you purchase another ring.

 

With this scenario they can farm for what they desire while gaining temporal profits via micro-management.

Needless to say, beyond 50 hp healing.

 

I used to do this in "HoN" all the time when I was active. Soon as I had lane-control and pushed beyond that lane shop. I could juggle rings for free healing.

(Which was easier as well, due to the interface allowing item-selling at unlimited range with a single click vs dropping on shops).

 

Please, just enforce removal of the full refund if the unit/hero has casted a spell, taken damage, dealt damage. This will help preventing refund-abusing in the future.

This would be the best way definately if such is required... Anyways is this stun nerf coming only for -eb and normal and doesn't enter -bo? If so then im cool with it. Otherwise it should never happen. Also utility hero or utility hero#2 could get more skills like centaur old skill and traxex old skill etc.. Old skills from past dotas. And for last me and many others would finally like to see the rearm rombos being enabled again... Rearm reinc,chrono, tombstone, rocs and maybe if there were others. If this is too hard or unwanted for some communities to be enabled then how about making it behind another game mode? -rc=rearm combos. So it can be implemented if wanted

Objectively, I find it proffesional to lift the refund for your inventory if you have made an action against another hostile unit/hero/building.

Instead of disabling an item to be purchased for a time period.

 

Please decide with next reply on this topic - which method you favour and will implement.

Regarding perma-dead courier:

this bug happens when you change the courier's form or upgrade it.

if you summon flying courier it wont be buggy.

fix is already in next patch, for now - try to avoid courier form changing for a while.

the only thing you can do with the sellback is refresher orb and that still takes 5k float gold
