If we would openly make suggestions to LoD, it would be this. Based on < one > simple logic behind it.

Always going for efficent builds becomes redundant and repetetive, and playing against 4 easily chained disables gets lame very quick and way to over-countered by bkb. Making it as onesided as possible in either case of who has the upper hand. Those are the games that are the most forgettable ones.

If you were forced to some degree to compensate some efficency for creativity (Because let's face it. Stuns are the best, optimal and easiet solution to any draft decisions). with creativity the LoD gaming will nourish from having more intresting games in the long run.

For the very same reasons you may not pick 4 passive skills. I believe this should apply both ways.

5 x 2 stuns is still 10 stuns in a team. I don't think that happens at all in 4 skill mode games, it's mostly 6-10 stuns but not really ever more than that. If you do think so, please provide a few replays where teams have 11  or more disables together.

Once more you avoid the topic.

The actual cases of how often it occurs is irrelevant. You avoided the so called "Fun factor" that was in question all along with this topic.

But if you insist that people may have as many disables as they please, then likewise allow people to pick as many passive skills as they please.

Otherwise it would be considered double standards.

its not the disables are imbalanced, its the stun+nuke combo.

there are a lot of very powerful disables which arent popular, except for maybe in multiple spell combos, like nightmare, shackles, hex, etc.

also the passive skill limit is good, because it encourages people to not pick 4 passive carry (which is fucking terrible if you dont have teammates who 4p1 you, which wont happen in pubs), but pick 3 steroid/farming spell, and get a stun, or escape mechanism, or any utility spell, which helps him survive.

You know what, fuck it. Stun as much as you want Idc anymore.

Feedback is easily downshot by ignorance (aka, leave it as it is). And bothering with this website was my mistake. Not your replies.

People are gonna do what they always have been doing and are very much indeed unlikely to change their mindset for anything butt life threatening situations. And even then, some people refuses to face reality.

Gl hf with updating LoD.

Well he could always make a mode with limit disables, I think it wouldnt be so hard. From there on its on mutual agreement of players in the channel or could be specified in the game name.

anyway resq u suck, u like my new nick?:D

so your complaint, is that stacking disables is not fun.

then why dont we ban rupture + any stun? what is fun in that you cant move, or you get damaged, and the only counter being TP, which will be interrupted with a stun? or remove rupture+blink, whats fun in pressing three buttons and win the whole teamfight? why dont we ban morph+return? what is fun that you literally cant autoattack the guy without taking 80+ dmg per hit, even in early game?

if you dont like "anti-fun" things in dota, please head to LoL, their game is ultra fun for sure, and their developers are looking out for anti-fun elements which ruins their game.

even with your thing being obvious since the first existence of LoD, that more stuns = win, people still pick retarded carry or tank builds, while having 2 or more good stuns in their pool, which could contribute more to the game in 10 minutes than their retarded build in the whole duration of the game.

meanwhile i dont think stacking stuns needs a nerf anymore. the possibilities after the unnerfed morph and remade husk passive add to the possibility simply tanking them and lately i cant remember many games where the amount of stuns were super annoying, unless the other team got almost no stuns at all, which kinda is their problem. in the end the limitations we make dont really matter, often enough will people pick the best "meta" skills, regardless if a certain amount of stuns is banned or not.
