Because it is not exist?
Requires energy booster in components instead of recipe, provides +250 mana, respectively.

Yes, it really inform that requires Energy Booster, but the Recipe still has a price and the description does not inform about the need of Energy Booster.
I also wanted to add that Mask of Madness Recipe, when bought, will look like a Quarterstaff. Somehow, it will transforme your Mask of Death (Lifesteal item) into Mask of Madness.

Not sure what you mean, can you give an example? MoM does not have a recipe at all
