Any plans on implementing the current terrain of dota2 to the next map?

Might not be the "next next map" but of course 6.88 is planned.

We will introduce what we like from DotA2, and up until 6.88 dota (www.d1stats.ru) everything seems perfectly fine. Anything bigger after that isn't really worth discussing if we don't even have 6.88 yet.

Everyone has their own opinion, keep in mind we don't make the map for just one kind of player.

I know it has nothing to do with terrain, but still something I would like to ask. Is there any plan to make the DotA map in SC2? as it has better graphic options and gameplay.

No, it's horrible to work in and it would be a huge timesink to port dota/lod to sc2 in it's entirety.

Yes you are, you. There is a reason the newer versions already are played less. Will see how popular .88 is, but might be that most LoD players will refuse to play the newer versions.

Wrong, I don't make the map for myself, and the newer maps have a crazy high playcount. In fact, I force myself to always think about the lower player ceilings which are ~90% of players. That's where ideas like invisbility wind swirls come from, I don't personally need this change, but it improved LoD drastically for the largest amount of players - and it's a simple fact that most LoD players aren't very good players.

With every change, at least 5 people are involved in discussions before or after they were implemented, and if it was after, it may easily be changed again in the next versions. Everything is always up for debate and nothing is set in stone.
I think you may be living in a bubble, LoD has only grown in the past few months.
All in all, only the conservative playerbases usually take very long to accept change and will instantly think everything that slightly forces them to change their playstyle is bad. It's always been like this in online gaming communities and is nothing new. Adhering to a vocal minority that always screams "THIS IS SO BAD!!!" is never a good idea. The ones who hate something will always scream the loudest, the ones who are neutral towards it or like it are much less likely to talk about that.
