Does this mean anything for LoD, or will LoD stay 1.26?

@ ResQ,

since Blizzard's classic team is currently engaged with War3 it would be nice if you or DracoL1ch could post in "Classic games general forum" a topic explaining who you are, your War3 projects (Dota & Lod), along with the problem you are facing which keeps Dota & Lod stuck with 1.26 patch.

I know that you tried to contact them in the past with no effect but consider doing it one more time because admins and mods are reading the forums and there is nothing to lose. If they read your feedback or even consider doing anything about the problems you mention it could be very beneficial for us.

War3 is their current focus and it would be a shame to miss this opportunity, there are even some rumours that they will remaster it like Starcraft, but that is for another topic.

Don't worry about it, contact is already established. It'll take a long time for blizz to replicate what memhack could do though.
